Hi, I’m Cristina!

A UX designer originally from London, now calling Barcelona home. I have the great privilege to belong to various cultures, since I am half English and half Argentinian, but chose Barcelona as my place to be.

I’m pivoting into UX from an audiovisual, CS and CRM ops background, where I’ve led cross-department processes and learned how real users and teams interact with systems. In all fields I have learnt that empathy for others is key.

Whilst working closely with a UX designer on several projects, I became curious about UX. After several coffees picking his brains, I was totally fascinated. We discussed UX design and writing and I learned a lot from the experience.

I started with a short UX writing course, but soon realised that I wanted to go deeper into UX/UI design. That led me to a full UX design diploma, where I discovered a particular interest in Accessibility. Having experienced small and temporary challenges myself, my curiosity was piqued in how different people experience products.

That curiosity has grown into a passion: I just completed the Professional Certificate in Designing for Accessibility at the UX Design Institute. And because I can’t resist a challenge, I will soon being the Professional Certificate in UI design course.

Outside of work, I enjoy pilates, baking, travelling, photography and family time. I enjoy learning about different cultures, especially through cuisine.
